Bytelore Terms of Use

Effective August 9, 2026.

1. The Service

Bytelore is a family of apps and a website for learning programming languages: theory, practice tasks and coding exercises executed in a protected sandbox. By installing the app or using the website you accept these terms.

2. Account

Some features (cloud progress sync, the league, purchases) require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your email address and for keeping access to it. You may delete your account at any time in the app settings; all associated data is deleted with it.

3. Subscriptions and payment

• Extended access (levels above the free ones) is sold as a subscription - per edition or all at once (All-Access).
• Payment is processed by the App Store or Google Play; prices are shown in the app in your currency before you subscribe.
• New subscribers may receive a free trial (7 days). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store or Google Play settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled under the rules of the respective store.
• Entitlements are tied to your account: a subscription bought on one platform works on the other after signing in to the same account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the code sandbox for attacks, cryptocurrency mining, mass mailing or any activity beyond learning; circumvent technical limits; or share paid access with third parties. We may limit execution resources and request rates.

5. Intellectual property

Bytelore learning materials belong to the service operator and are intended for personal learning. The code you write in exercises remains yours.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We strive for accuracy and availability but do not guarantee them unconditionally and are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted to you by law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new version.
